	Babcock-Davis safety railing system for roof hatches that have a ladder or stairway mounted opposite of the hinge. Also, for hatch dimensions which exceed 30" on the mounting side.

RHSR-O SERIES
Product Description: Babcock-Davis safety railing system for safe egress through roof hatches and for protection of roof opening while roof hatch is in open position. Meets OSHA Standard CFR 29 1910.23 and CFR 29 1910.27
Flat Bar: 2" x 3/8" thickness A36 mild steel
Pipe: 1 ¼" ID A53 Grade B seamed steel
Weld Filler: Metal NR211 E70XX (AWS)
Finish: Hot dipped galvanized steel
Chain System: 3/16" proof coil ASTM specification, zinc plated with quick links and 2 ½" zinc plated hoops on each end
Pipe Caps: Weather and light resistant vinyl 1 ½" deep and fit snugly over pipe ends
Bolts & Washers: Hex head bolts 3/8" x 2 ½" grade Z, zinc plated. Fender washers for inside of hatch curb and standard flat washers outside
Railing Fittings: By Babcock-Davis
Sealant for Brackets: Brackets shall be sealed per roof manufacturer's approved methods
Labels: Safety "NO HOISTING" warning label, model and serial # label and manufacturer identification label
Installer Certification: Systems must be installed by individuals holding a valid and current Certificate of Installation from Babcock-Davis
Warranty: 7 year manufacturer's parts only warranty
