Job Description
Vast knowledge of forming sheet metal including capabilities and constraints. This position will require operating and maintaining the following equipment: press brake and folder. This will include CNC programming, set up of equipment, and perform quality checks and routine preventative maintenance. Work with team members to maximize productivity through TOC.
Essential Functions
- CNC programming
- Set up and run the following equipment: Accupress
- Changing out tooling on equipment
- Be aware of production runs to ensure the correct parts are made
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Performs frequent quality checks
- Performs daily/weekly/monthly preventive maintenance on machines
- Work within all safety guidelines
- Cross train on various machines
- Misc. projects and prototyping
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read tape measure, protractor and caliper
- Knowledge of various tooling
- Knowledge of bend allowances
- Capable of reading blueprints
- Minimum of one year CNC experience
- Comfortable with power tools and manual tools
- Good attendance
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds
- High school diploma or GED
